What are the steps to care for my unit?

Treat your unit in the same manner that you would treat your hair.

1.)Detangle,

2.) Shampoo,

3.) Condition or deep condition,

4.) Detangle,

5.) Air Dry.

When detangling, please comb from the ends of the hair to the roots or weft of the hair. To shampoo do not, rub your hands across the hair; it may tangle.

Gently rub the shampoo on the hair in a downward motion until it lathers. If you are not able to take these steps, we will be glad to do it for you.

Are you a licensed cosmetologist?

No. We are a self-taught brand. We will take all opportunities to educate ourselves about the hair industry and learn proper hair techniques from licensed cosmetologists. 

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, credit cards, Pay-pal, Quadpay, Quickbooks,Square and Sezzle.

How many bundles of hair will I need for a custom hair unit?

The choice is yours for the density of your custom unit. However, we recommend three bundles for a standard closure and two bundles for a frontal. The longer the hair, the shorter the weft (track). For additional questions, email us at customersupport@distinguishedcrowns.com.

 

What types of caps do you use for custom units?

We use mesh dome caps.

Do you provide service for individuals with hair loss? 

We created Distinguished Crowns LLC to service women who are experiencing hair loss. We offer additional payment options for women medically diagnosed with conditions that cause hair loss. For more information, email us at customersupport@distinguishedcrowns.com.

Do you customize units with cut, color, and creating a natural hairline and part(s)?

We've partnered with a licensed cosmetologist for custom cuts and color.
